7828 - 1990 CASE W14B
Description:
1990 Case W14B-162 original hours-Multi purpose bucket--Enclosed cab--
Machine was purchased new by military base in Alabama along with a large group of machines for a demo job on base. This one and several more were surplus and were used as backups when the others broke down. It was given to City of Argo in Alabama in a program where bases will give equipment to local municipalities instead of bloc granting them the money to go buy it. The City of Argo used it here and there over the course of a couple years to load some trucks. They chose to sell this machine and another six tractors that all came from same base. They all had between 180 and 450 hours on them. We were able to verify the hours with the city as they were aware of the hours from their communication with the base personnel.
Machine starts, runs and operates and will self load. I had an equipment mechanic go over the machine prior to listing it and he agreed with the hours as there is so little wear in the loader frame, bucket, etc. The bucket has some scratches on it from loading some gravel and sand. The small bottom glass is missing from one door and the brakes are a bit tight from lack of use.
