Last inspection (see picture with inspection notice). Although not much of a beauty this crane functions mostly as it should. It has been well maintained throughout the years. The truck motor is a Detroit 671 diesel engine that starts and has a small amount of smoke until it gets warmed up. The upper engine is a New John Deere 404 cubic inch (same engine as in a John Deere 4020 diesel) with approx. 100 HP. This engine was changed one and one half years ago and has less than 100 hours on it. Crane has four hydraulic outriggers, All tires are 1400 x 20" 18 ply, this crane has a 90' mast. The crane cable clutch sticks because of not being used very much. The yard mechanic says once you use it, the cable clutch works fine. The truck started with a jump so it needs a new battery.
