This very unusual pipe handler comes in the form of a Komatsu PC220LC-8 Hi-Rise Excavator Base. The bucket linkage, cylinder and components have been removed to save weight and allow the fitment of a hydraulic powered Vac Lifter.

Crawler -
The base of this machine is standard Komatsu however the factory fitted Hi-Rise Cabin allows scrap yards, pipe stringing crews, grapple hooks and magnets to be used and the operator can see down and over the piece. They can also see into the truck or dumpster being loaded greatly increasing safety and performance.

Lifter -
Our lifter is an early version GPE hydraulic powered vacuum. This unit and the spreader bar allows the single operator to lift turn and stack any size HDPE, Poly, PCV, Concrete or Steel Pipe. The pipe can not be damaged or dropped and is highly efficient. All shoe sizes and spreader is included. The spreader has a rotator that can be turned 360 degrees or more if required. Unit could be adapted with additional shoes to pick flat stock such as steel plate, beams or brick and pavers.
