Here we have a 1979 Etnyre BlackTopper (BT) Series Oil/Asphalt Distributor mounted on a 1972 FORD L8000 truck. Both the distributor and the truck are in great operating condition. Unit was working during the 2016 construction season here in Northern Illinois. We have used this unit to shoot prime, tack, and chip seal emulsion.

About the Distributor: This Etnyre BlackTopper Series distributor is in great operating condition and built in Oregon, Illinois. Unit is powered by a cab controlled PTO. Unit has a total of 24 feet of bar for edge to edge road coverage in one pass. Unit Includes in-cab controls, radar tracking feet per minute and digital readout for accuracy. A fully functional hose and spray wand are included for trim work and manual coverage of small areas. Dual LPG burners. The 3650 gallon tank is in excellent condition. Tank is fully insulated and aluminum jacketed, no leaks, no dents, very clean. An operating manual and Bitumen Calculator are included with this unit.

About the Truck: 1972 FORD L8000, Cummins Engine (290 HP) with a 10 double-low transmission on Hendrickson spring suspension. Truck is in very good operating condition. Cab received new paint in 2016 and is in good shape cosmetically, no accidents, no dents. Interior is CLEAN (a rarity with distributor trucks). Truck has a cab mounted strobe. Truck is equipped with In-Cab controls and meters provided and installed by Etnyre.
