We are helping a area farmer sell this Massey 2244 Track Loader who had a stoke this summer that he's recovering well from, but he can't use and work on his equipment now.

Canopy and ROPS System
The farmer had some friends look at the tracks, undercarriage, rollers and sprockets and they said they looked to be about 85% overall and in real good shape. This winter the farmer has $1,700 of work done to the right side with new brakes and clutches and all the bearings replaced. The left side felt all good and bearings and oil were all good too so those were left as is in nice shape.
Before he got the stroke the farmer had a mobile mechanic put on a new valve cover gasket but it is still leaking. After he saw it leaking he himself pulled off the gasket and saw this mechanic didn't even clean the old gasket all the way off. So the farmer did that and put the new gasket back on but it still leaks a little and around then is when he had his stroke. So that needs another new gasket put on correctly this time. The other two minor things the farmer can't fix now due to his health are a wire from the alternator to the starter - and an injector line is leaking at the pump.
Otherwise this 2244 Crawler Dozer 44 HP Track Loader runs and starts great and the big motor doesn't have any issues or the transmission. On back is a drawbar for pulling. Let us know if you'd like to come out and drive it. If you're from out of the area we can probably find or recommend a local diesel mechanic you could hire independently to come out to test drive it for you. Probably even do a video too.
